Lesson 2 –The Layout of Your Blog





1.     Now
that you have a blog with a title, web address, and template, we want to work
on your layout.  Log into your blog using
your Gmail account and select the nine squares next to your name and go to more
and click on Blogger. 





2.     Once
you have signed in.  Look on the left
side and you should see my blogs and select your blog.  You will see layout which you will
click.  Here is a screen shot. 










3.     The
layout will be based on your template. 
You can change your template if you would like at anytime by clicking on
template.  I changed mine several times
based on my layout and gadgets that I liked.





4.     Now you
can be creative with the layout.  Once we
click the layout link, we will click the add a gadget link that’s on the right
side of the page.  There are several
options to choose from but these are the ones that I recommend:





A.   +1
button so visitors can recommend your site content


B.    Google
+ Followers


C.    Translate


D.   Pages


E.    Google
Adsense


F.    Html/Javascritp
you can add content but we discuss this more later


G.   Link
list which shows the blogs and website you like


H.   Blog
list I list all my blogs here





                The
list goes on and on so choose some and have fun.  Tomorrow for Lesson 3 we will discuss earning
with your blog.  I will add this
